Watching Video Overview
Every playlist is film first. The video stage sits right above the grid — click a play, watch it, step to the next, switch angles — with the same hands you use on your film platform. This chapter covers the stage, the transport, angles, keyboard control, and the extras: play diagrams on Catapult and slides in the film.
The Stage
Turn the stage on with the grid header's Show video button (the same button becomes Hide video). Click any play row and it cues up.
The controls appear when your mouse is over the video and tuck away when it isn't (on a touch screen they're always available, auto-hiding while a clip plays and returning on a tap). Big Previous/Next arrows float on the left and right edges of the stage.
Reaching the end of a clip auto-advances — first through the play's other angles, then on to the next play. The last play of the playlist just stops.
The Transport Bar
Center stage: the big Play/Pause button. Around it, everything you need to
work a play:

Hold-down speed buttons — press and hold, release to resume where you were. You get Slow forward and Fast forward on the right, and Slow rewind, Fast rewind, and Play reverse (full-speed backward) on the left. Slow is 0.5×, fast is 3×.

Back 2 seconds/Forward 2 seconds jump buttons.

Previous/Next — steps through the play's angles first, then on to the neighboring play.
The scrub bar is frame-accurate — grab it and drag smoothly in either direction, forward or backward. The timer beside it shows position and length, and adds "· 0.5×" whenever slow mode is on.
Smooth reverse and scrubbing lean on a modern browser. Where they're not available, a small notice reads "Reverse/scrub needs WebCodecs (Chrome/Edge, Safari 16.4+)." and the reverse hold buttons hide — everything else keeps working.
