PFF Diagrams (Catapult)
On Catapult projects every play can carry a PFF drawing — all 22 players, routes, and coverage at a glance. It shows in two places:
-
The diagram pane beside the video — toggle it with the grid header's Show PFF diagram button.
-
The "PFF Diagram" angle in the transport — so drawings show in fullscreen too. A drawing "plays" for the still-image time, then advances just like a clip.
First time in, the pane asks you to "Choose this project's PFF league to load play diagrams." — click NFL or NCAA. (Also settable per project in the Projects list)
The drawing itself: players with jersey numbers, route/blocking/coverage/motion lines, the line of scrimmage and line to gain, the target spot, and the result text. Hover any player for their name and positions. Zoom with the +/− buttons or the mouse wheel, drag to pan — your zoom sticks as you step through plays, and*Zoom to fit resets it.
The ⚙ button opens Diagram Settings: pick the active Setting (your saved preset — the pick is remembered per definition), flip Offense on top, and toggle layers on and off — Routes, Blocking, Coverage, Pass rush, Motion, Ball carrier, Target spot, Result text, LOS line, Line to gain — plus a checkbox per Position Group to show or hide your own groups.
The presets themselves live in the Column Set editor → Diagrams tab: name, layer visibility and colors, line widths, and Position Groups — your own groupings (Seed Standard Groups starts you with OLine, QB, RB, TE, WR, DL, LB, DB), each with its positions (matched as played or by roster position), show/hide, route toggle, and colors. The first matching group wins; drag to reorder.
