Working the Grid Overview
The grid is where you read a playlist and push on it — sort it, group it, filter it, select plays, pull clips — all without ever touching your saved rules. This chapter is the grid itself.
Reading the Grid
The header shows where you are: the playlist's folder path ("Games / All Games") plus a play-count badge ("146 plays"). Ad-hoc playlists add a reminder — "(AdHoc — drag to reorder)".
Every row is a play. Long cell text truncates to keep rows tight, but hover any cell and a tooltip shows the full value. Numbers align right so they read in columns.
Group bands — the tinted rows like "PLAY TYPE: Pass (3/12 - 25.0%)" — come from sort rules or from grid grouping (9.3).
Two different highlights, and a row can wear both:
-
The selected rows — your multi-select, shown with a tint (9.5).
-
The now-playing row — a left accent bar that follows the video and auto-scrolls into view as playback advances.
