Slide Editor

The pencil opens a full-screen 16:9 canvas. Everything on it drags, resizes, and snaps to alignment guides. The toolbar, left to right:

  • Add field — live placeholders that fill in per playlist at render time: Project name, Upload name, Folder path, Playlist name, the group values/counts/percentages, and rule-specific fields like Down & Distance or Filter name.

  • Add text — your own fixed text (a motto, a season, a coach's name).

  • Add image — any picture; big ones are shrunk automatically.

  • Shape — Rectangle, Rounded rectangle, Ellipse, Circle, Triangle, Line.

  • Logo box — a placement marker, not a picture. The real logo drops in at render, so changing your logo later updates every slide automatically.

  • Add chart/Add stat — place any of the rule's assigned charts or stat tables as a box; each playlist's own live chart or table is rendered into it. The dashed outline and the "Chart: …" name label exist only in the editor — never on the finished slide.

The properties panel on the right adapts to what's selected: Background  color is always there; text gets Font (ten families, Segoe UI to Impact), Size, bold/italic/underline, alignment, and Text color; shapes get Fill color, Line color, and Line width; images get Opacity (%). Bring forward/Send to back handle layering.

Working the canvas: Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y undo and redo, the copy button duplicates, Delete removes, and the arrow keys nudge the selection (Appendix A has the full list). A size readout in the footer warns when big images inflate the template. Save slide returns you to the deck; Cancel discards. And if you've painted yourself into a corner, Reset to default restores the standard all-fields layout.
