Getting Started with Cutup Generator for Web
Cutup Generator pulls your game film from your video platform and builds a complete cutup library in seconds. Personnel, Formations, Run Game, Pass Game, and anything else you can describe with a rule.
What is Cutup Generator for Web?
Your film platform holds the plays. Cutup Generator pulls them and organizes
them your way, instantly, and again every time new film arrives.
Four building blocks do all the work. You'll meet each in its own chapter:
- A project is your data: the games you're breaking down, per team (ch. 3).
- A cutup definition is your recipe: an ordered stack of folder rules that
builds the library (ch. 4).
- A column set is your data dictionary: the columns you track, plus the
rules, stats, and charts built on them (ch. 5).
- Playlists are the output: the tree of cutups you watch, chart, and share.
The Key Idea: generation = project × definition.
Pick a project and a definition, and the tree builds itself. Change either, or tweak the recipe, and it rebuilds instantly. Your recipes are never tied to one opponent's film.
