Create, Manage and Pick a Definition
Create Definition
Click + New Definition. There's exactly one field — Name ("e.g. Base Offense") — and a Create button. The new definition becomes your active definition immediately.
It starts as an empty recipe, so the next stop is Edit: give it a column set and some folder rules.
Manage Definitions List
Click Manage definitions (the ☰ button beside the dropdown) to open the list. It's enabled once you're connected, before that, the empty state says "Connect to an integration (bottom-left) to see your definitions."
Each row shows the definition's name and, below it, its column set and rule count, "Standard Offense · 6 rules" (or "(no column set)" if none is assigned yet).
Row actions:
-
Edit — open the definition editor.
-
Export — downloads the definition with its column set as a `.cutupdef.json` file. This is how you share recipes with another seat.
-
Remove — asks first: "Delete "{name}"? This can't be undone."
Across the bottom: + New Definition, Import… (a file exported from another seat — it must be for the same integration you're connected to), and Manage Column Sets.
Pick the Active Definition
The definition dropdown in the top toolbar, showing "Select a definition" until you choose, is the only place the active definition is chosen.
The Manage Definitions list doesn't mark the active one; the dropdown
is the source of truth.
Pick a different definition and the tree rebuilds on the spot.
